About
Dr. Abhishek Kumar Sharma

What Sets Him Apart

Trained at India’s foremost psychiatric institution—NIMHANS—Dr. Abhishek Kumar developed a deep understanding early on: individuals are far more than their symptoms. His approach integrates medication, psychotherapy, and neuromodulation, tailored to each person’s lived experience, with particular expertise in working with children, adolescents, and early-life emotional challenges.

His advanced work in sexual wellness at Allo Health refined his ability to foster non-judgmental, affirming spaces for exploring intimacy and relationship concerns. Additionally, 18 months at the Centre for Addiction Medicine, NIMHANS, sharpened his clinical focus on substance-use and behavioural addictions.

Each session is rooted in trauma-informed, queer-affirmative principles—spaces where individuals are seen, heard, and respected, never labelled.
